Seacoast VeloKids is a non-profit organization dedicated to the introduction and promotion of cycling to the youth of New Hampshire and Maine's Seacoast communities. Currently we are developing a mountain biking program, with a five-year vision to expand into multiple disciplines across a variety of age groups. Our goal is to promote cycling as a lifelong activity as part of a healthy lifestyle.

Kids + Bikes = :)
Set a kid riding and you set them on a winning course for life. While cycling is a sure way to stimulate a child’s mind and body, our ultimate goal is to foster an environment that helps them enjoy the outdoors in a way that makes them feel good about themselves. Whether our program leads to a lifelong love of recreational riding or illuminates professional-level potential, we know each child will have a smile on their face each time they pedal with us. It is this joy that motivates all of our efforts. Kids + Bikes = VeloKids
Kids and Mountain Biking
Our program is designed to get kids riding with confidence on simple trails and paths. We will start on grass and in fields to build leg strength as well as introduce that "off road" feel. As the program progresses we will introduce trails and paths. For more information see the Kids Program page.
2015 Take a Kid Mountain Biking - May 31
We're excited that you and your family will be joining us on Sunday for Take a Kid Mountain Biking Day! It's our favorite day of the year, so we KNOW the weather will cooperate. But, just in case, keep an eye on our Facebook feed on Sunday morning (www.facebook.com/seacoastvelokids). If it looks like steady rain all day, or there is lightning, we will make a post by 9:00 if we are delaying the start time or postponing to a new date.
Seacoast VeloKids was born from the simple desire to get more kids involved with cycling. As a group of avid cyclists, many with young children of our own, we wanted to expose more local children to the simple joy of cycling and the tremendous cycling resources available in the Seacoast area. See Our Mission and Our Vision for more.
