2020 Summer Ride ProgramSummer Ride will continue at Stratham Hill Park on Sundays (our York ME program will not be happening this year - scroll down for more). This program is geared towards young kids who are ready to take riding to the next level. The program is open to self sufficient riders who can manage basic trails with no assistance. We will be teaching these riders more advanced skills to allow them to become more confident riders as well as allowing them to experience the fun of riding with their peers. We will also allocate time to discuss trail stewardship and appreciation for the sport.

York Summer Ride UpdateHello, Riders!
Please note that while we will be starting the Stratham NH summer ride program this next weekend we are NOT going to conduct the program in York, ME this summer. Why is the York program not being conducted? Each program is different and it comes down to evaluating a number of factors such as location, land use/owners, state and local regulations, the population we serve, etc. For the York program all those factors and our overall concern for the health and well being of our riders and volunteers we have decided to not conduct the York summer program. Even though we may not be able to see you in person this summer we are working diligently on another platform in order to stay in touch and share our rides and our smiles. PLEASE stay tuned we will be sending out an update on that very soon! We hope you are finding new challenges and new areas to explore on your bike(s). That is what we look forward to seeing and hearing about this summer! Keeping riding!! All the Best, SVK and the York Ride Leaders - Sarah, Nat & Pete |
2020 Summer Ride - COVID 19 UPDATE **NEW: Pre-registration of youth AND Adult riders required for 2020. Group Sizes are limited to 30 participants. Adult participants/ride leaders are required to wear a face mask/buff. Buffs are recommended for children but not required. There will be skill-based ride groups. This is due to COVID-19 and managing group sizes in accordance with CDC, state, and local guidelines.** Please note that at this time no we are NOT allowing adult/parent riders to accompany kids to allow more kids to ride while still staying under minimum recommendations for group sizes. **Kids need to BRING a mask or facebuff. They are not required to wear a mask of buff when riding but will be asked to put one on if there is a stop (i.e. in case of a mechanical, etc.)** No swapping of equipment (bikes, helmets, etc.) or exchanging snacks. Also, no physical horseplay, etc. Show up ready to ride. Have your bike your helmet and a water bottle. Make sure your tires are properly inflated. We will perform temperature checks. Anyone with a temperature will be asked to not participate. We will also ask that parents limit time at drop off to a minimum. No York ME program this summer (I know...we are bummed too) RegistrationDetailsOur ride leaders will provide basic rider instruction and adult supervision for the 2 hour sessions. Your child's safety will be our first priority. Beyond safety we will be developing rider skills and confidence.
